The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has significantly bolstered its preparations to provide comprehensive support for UAE nationals traveling or residing abroad during the winter travel season.

The ministry’s focus is on addressing citizens' needs with efficiency and care, ensuring seamless services throughout this busy period.

In line with its mission to safeguard the well-being of UAE nationals, MoFA has deployed advanced systems and strategies to manage emergencies and inquiries 24/7. These initiatives ensure rapid and effective responses, assisting Emirati travelers with any challenges they may face while overseas.

Mrs. Bushra Almatrushi, Director of the UAE Nationals Affairs Department, emphasized the Ministry's alignment with the UAE leadership's vision, particularly in embracing digital transformation. The Ministry has simplified access to its services through an official website and smartphone app, making it easier for nationals to stay connected and informed.

Travelers are encouraged to plan ahead, book through trusted platforms, and choose accommodations with high safety standards. Additionally, they are urged to avoid carrying large amounts of cash and valuable items, while familiarizing themselves with destination-specific travel guidelines available on MoFA’s digital platforms.

For emergencies, the Ministry has reminded nationals to save the 24/7 emergency hotline at 0097180024 and to register for the “Twajudi” service, which can be accessed via MoFA’s website or app. For general inquiries, nationals can also contact the Ministry's call center at 0097180044444.

The Ministry’s proactive approach ensures that UAE nationals receive prompt assistance, reinforcing its commitment to their safety and well-being abroad.
