The Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE) has achieved a major milestone by transitioning entirely to cloud computing, marking a pivotal moment in its digital transformation journey.
This strategic shift enhances the flexibility, efficiency, and resilience of its operations, particularly in managing crises and disasters, while aligning with Dubai’s ambitious vision for smart services and sustainability.
This transformation promises faster processing of housing applications, improved data accuracy, and robust cybersecurity. It also enables cost-effective scalability, ensuring the organization remains agile in meeting future demands. The initiative supports Dubai’s Digital Strategy and the Dubai 2040 Urban Plan, underscoring the emirate’s leadership in innovation and technological advancement.
The shift to cloud computing follows a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with Microsoft UAE, represented by Thilal Khalifa Al Falasi, Assistant CEO for Corporate Support at MBRHE, and Naim Yazbeck, General Manager of Microsoft UAE. The MoU focuses on fostering digital innovation and enhancing service delivery.
Talal Al Ali, Director of Digital Transformation at MBRHE, stated,
“Our transition to cloud computing enhances the quality of housing services, supports sustainability, and aligns with Dubai’s future vision.”
MBRHE has already implemented advanced cloud-powered systems such as housing application processing, contractor payment management, customer relationship management, and AI-driven enterprise intelligence. These systems streamline operations, improve service delivery, and ensure operational continuity.
In tandem, MBRHE has launched workshops to upskill its workforce, empowering employees to maximize the benefits of cloud technologies.
