The Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Forum opens on Tuesday at the Dubai World Trade Centre, gathering 1,000 government and private sector leaders under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

Organised by the Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development (MBRCLD), the annual event is the emirate’s premier gathering on management and leadership. It aims to build a leadership ecosystem rooted in anticipating future opportunities and acting with speed and agility. The Forum will review Dubai’s achievements, discuss upcoming initiatives and projects, and help shape the next phase of development.

The agenda includes panel discussions, workshops and addresses on the future of institutional leadership in a changing workplace. Several Leadership Majlis sessions will cover future economy, growth and innovation trends, future cities and smart infrastructure, and a new global narrative to strengthen Dubai’s standing in economy, media, knowledge and humanitarian action. Global experts in human and leadership development will also speak.

The Forum will honour the Director General chosen to receive the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Medal, the highest accolade in the Government of Dubai. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, launched the medal at the previous edition to nurture government leaders and empower second-tier leadership.

A new cohort of MBRCLD graduates will be recognised. The event will also see the launch of initiatives in leadership and development and the signing of partnerships and MoUs with government entities and global academic institutions.

Mohammad Al Gergawi, Chairman of The Executive Office of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Chairman of MBRCLD, said the Forum turns the leadership philosophy of Sheikh Mohammed into an operational approach built on foresight, proactivity, planning and execution. He added that today’s global shifts demand leaders who can anticipate trends and turn vision into reality with speed and resilience.
