The Mohammed Bin Rashid Library has announced an extensive programme of cultural, educational, and art events for August, catering to visitors of all ages and interests.

The series includes workshops, lectures, and seminars, starting with a session by Dr. Baraa Dhahir on the impact of childhood trauma on emotional development, aimed at raising awareness and providing coping strategies.

The library will host a reading evening for first-time published authors, supporting new writers as they share their experiences. In celebration of World Calligraphy Day, Matar bin Lahej will participate in a panel discussion on Arabic calligraphy, exploring its role in cultural communication.

Other activities include an interactive workshop on advancements in AI and robotics, a session on writing official letters in Arabic led by Mr. Mohammed Hasanein, and a panel discussion featuring Emirati entrepreneur Ibtihal Alnaji on launching technology projects. The library will also mark World Hausa Language Day with a discussion on the history and cultural significance of the Hausa language, accompanied by traditional music and songs.

For Emirati Women's Day, the library will host performances by Emirati musical talents. The month's events will conclude with a 'Mastering Mobile Photography' workshop by Mansour Al Mansouri, offering tips on capturing quality photos with mobile phones.

Additionally, a summer camp for children aged 7-12 will run from August 5-15, as part of the Cultural Summer initiative, providing a variety of sessions and workshops in both Arabic and English to foster a love of reading and knowledge.
