The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has engaged in discussions with the Republic of Serbia to strengthen cooperation in the health sector.
The talks, held in Abu Dhabi, aimed to enhance collaboration, share healthcare solutions, and boost communication between health institutions in both countries.
Key participants included Dr. Amin Hussein Al Amiri, Assistant Undersecretary for the Health Regulation Sector at MoHAP, and Dr. Danica Savovic, Chargé d'Affaires at the Serbian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, alongside representatives from Serbia’s private health sector.
Dr. Al Amiri highlighted the significance of developing health relations and integrating global expertise to align with the UAE’s "We the UAE 2031" vision. He noted that MoHAP is committed to fostering innovation and using artificial intelligence to advance healthcare services, thereby improving the quality of life in the UAE.
The discussions covered various cooperation areas, including health technology, innovative healthcare solutions, and best practice exchange. Dr. Al Amiri invited Serbian health companies to bring their innovative solutions to the UAE, underscoring the country's welcoming environment for health investments.
The Serbian delegation praised the UAE's healthcare advancements and expressed interest in elevating bilateral health cooperation. They emphasized that this meeting marked a step toward deeper health collaboration, supporting sustainable development in both nations.
Both sides agreed to maintain ongoing coordination, plan regular visits, and outline joint projects aimed at enhancing health services and addressing global health challenges.
This partnership reflects the UAE's continued commitment to expanding international health cooperation and achieving long-term sustainable development goals in the healthcare sector.
