MoHAP Launches Automated Revenue Reconciliation System to Enhance Financial Efficiency

The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has introduced a pioneering initiative to automate its daily revenue reconciliation process, marking a significant milestone in enhancing financial governance and operational efficiency.

The system, developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), aligns MoHAP’s revenues with the Financial Management Information System (FMIS). This integration ensures precise documentation and verification of financial transactions, reducing manual effort while accelerating digital integration with government systems.

The initiative supports the UAE Digital Government Strategy 2025 and positions MoHAP as the first federal entity to automate daily revenue reconciliations. Abdullah Ahmed Ahli, Acting Assistant Under-Secretary for Support Services, highlighted the ministry’s commitment to adopting advanced systems that enhance administrative efficiency and transparency.

“This initiative streamlines procedures, enhances flexibility, and elevates government performance, ultimately improving the quality of services for the community,”

Ahli stated.

The automated system incorporates an integrated control panel that tracks revenue movements and generates real-time, accurate reports, facilitating data-driven decision-making. Amna Al Mandoos, Head of MoHAP’s Revenue Section, emphasized that the system adheres to international standards for financial automation, ensuring compatibility with federal financial frameworks.

In addition to saving time and effort, the initiative offers technical benefits such as faster reconciliation processes, enhanced data accuracy, and improved resource management. It aligns with MoHAP’s broader vision to boost institutional efficiency and advance the UAE’s digital transformation efforts.

This development underscores MoHAP’s proactive role in fostering innovation and excellence in financial operations, in line with the nation’s strategic priorities.
