The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has officially opened research submissions for the second edition of the Scientific Conference on Health and Medical Research, taking place in October 2025.

Organised by MoHAP’s National Centre for Health Research, the conference is a key national initiative to elevate the UAE’s position in global health research. It aims to build local research capabilities, foster innovation, and promote the dissemination of high-impact clinical and medical studies.

Researchers, academics, and healthcare professionals across the UAE are invited to submit papers on a broad spectrum of topics. These include oncology, cardiovascular health, diabetes, obesity, genetics, infectious diseases, neuroscience, women’s and children’s health, environmental health, AI in medical applications, and organ donation and transplantation.

The deadline for paper submissions is 15 June 2025. Final decisions on accepted research will be announced by 15 September 2025.

MoHAP is targeting a wide range of participants—from university academics and healthcare professionals to researchers in pharmaceutical companies, public and private medical institutions, postgraduate students, and resident doctors. Directors of research departments and health innovation experts are also encouraged to take part.

By offering a platform for both seasoned and emerging researchers, the conference supports the UAE’s long-term developmental goals and strengthens collaboration across institutions. It also plays a strategic role in enhancing national performance in medical research and innovation.

Registration is free and available through MoHAP’s official website. For more information or inquiries, participants can contact the National Centre for Health Research at NCHR@mohap.gov.ae.
