MoIAT Announces Third Edition of Industrialists Career Exhibition to Boost Emirati Employment
The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) has revealed that the third edition of the Industrialists Career Exhibition will take place from October 28-30 at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre.
This year’s exhibition aims to create and match jobs in the industrial and advanced technology sectors, continuing the success of its predecessors, which facilitated over 1,400 specialized job placements for Emirati talent, including 150 positions for People of Determination.
The previous editions, held in Ras Al Khaimah, generated more than 200 job opportunities, bringing the total to over 1,600 within a year of the exhibition’s launch last October. This third edition is set to offer over 900 new jobs across 93 private companies in nine key sectors, including food and beverages, engineering, logistics, and technology, with more than 100 positions specifically for People of Determination.
For the first time, the exhibition will provide job and training opportunities for female recruits from the “Hama” programme, launched in partnership with the National Service and Reserve Authority. This initiative aims to develop specialized skills in five vital sectors, including industry and advanced technology.
The exhibition is a collaborative effort involving MoIAT, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (Nafis), among others, and is supported by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The initiative emphasizes integrating highly qualified Emirati talent into the industrial sector to enhance its role in the national economy.
With on-site, office, and hybrid roles available, the exhibition will also feature an instant matching system through a dedicated app to align jobseekers’ qualifications with job vacancies.
