The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) will host the third Make it in the Emirates Forum on May 27-28 at Abu Dhabi Energy Centre.
The event, themed "Invest. Innovate. Grow", will feature key stakeholders discussing industry growth, innovation, and investment opportunities, including new partnerships and procurement deals worth billions.
During the Make it in the Emirates Forum, winners of the awards will be announced, and an exhibition will feature industrial opportunities and locally manufactured products from 44 major companies. The forum, aligned with UAE's industrial growth strategies, fosters communication among stakeholders and supports the National ICV Program. It aims to boost industry’s GDP contribution and diversify the economy.
Rashed Al Blooshi emphasized Abu Dhabi's efforts to become a leading industrial hub, highlighting the Abu Dhabi Industrial Strategy (ADIS) and its role in transitioning to Industry 4.0 for a sustainable economy. Last year, the sector contributed AED 101 billion to Abu Dhabi’s GDP.
At the Make it in the Emirates Forum, ADNOC will highlight its expanded In-Country Value (ICV) Program and announce major local procurement agreements. The event will showcase new industrial projects and initiatives promoting UAE’s economic diversification, local job creation, SME support, and advanced technology adoption.
The 2024 Make it in the Emirates Forum will feature panels on UAE's industrial vision, AI in industry, and leveraging In-Country Value. The event includes an awards ceremony, sessions on aerospace investment, green technology, sustainable manufacturing, and youth involvement. It aims to boost industrial growth, innovation, and investment in line with the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology.
