The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) has inaugurated the third edition of the Industrialists Career Exhibition, running from 28th to 30th October at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre.
This event is part of a national effort to boost employment in the industrial and advanced technology sectors, with over 900 new job opportunities available for Emirati talent.
The exhibition builds on the success of its previous editions, which have already provided over 2,300 jobs, including 100 positions for People of Determination. This year’s edition includes over 100 specialized roles for People of Determination across 93 private sector companies in key fields, according to Salama Al Awadhi, Director of the National In-Country Value (ICV) Programme at MoIAT.
For the first time, the exhibition is extending job and training opportunities to female national service recruits from the “Hama” programme, a government initiative aimed at developing specialized skills in sectors such as industry and advanced technology.
The event is a collaboration between MoIAT, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (Nafis), and ADNOC Group, forming a cohesive effort under the National In-Country Value Programme (ICV), a key element of the UAE’s Projects of the 50.
In an innovative approach, the exhibition features an instant matching system through a dedicated app, using advanced technology to align jobseekers’ qualifications with available roles. This system aims to expedite employment by providing on-site, office, and hybrid opportunities tailored to participants’ skills and the evolving needs of the industry.
