Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, presented the prestigious Green Certificate to the Central Grievance Committee of the Dubai Government, recognizing their commitment to sustainability through the adoption of Moro Green Cloud services.
The award was given during WETEX 2024, the region’s largest sustainability and clean energy technology exhibition, held from October 1-3 at the Dubai World Trade Center.
The certificate was presented by Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, to Khalfan Harib, Chairman of the Central Grievance Committee. The award underscores the Committee’s dedication to responsible digital transformation and aligns with the UAE’s sustainability goals, including the Net Zero by 2050 Strategic Initiative.

He highlighted the importance of utilizing advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence and cloud computing, to drive environmental sustainability.
Khalfan Harib expressed the Committee's honor in receiving the award, praising Moro Hub's Green Cloud for helping reduce their environmental impact. Marwan bin Haidar, Vice Chairman and Group CEO of Digital DEWA, commended the Committee's proactive approach to sustainability, setting a benchmark for other government entities.
Moro Green Cloud is designed to reduce carbon emissions by minimizing the need for physical servers, optimizing IT resource management, and enhancing data security. The Green Certificate highlights the importance of adopting digital solutions that contribute to a more sustainable future while maintaining operational efficiency.
