The Museum of the Future has announced an exciting new lecture series titled "Lessons from the Past at Museum of the Future," set to begin in February.
The series will be led by Dr. Roy Casagranda, a renowned historian and researcher known for his expertise in the history of civilizations and his engaging storytelling approach.
Dr. Casagranda, who is a special guest lecturer at the museum, will guide participants through 10 monthly lectures that explore pivotal moments in history and the valuable lessons they offer for shaping future innovation. Each lecture will last one hour, with a limited capacity of 50 attendees per session. Registration is required in advance through the museum’s website.
This initiative aligns with the Museum of the Future’s mission to foster intellectual innovation, lifelong learning, and future foresight. Majed Al Mansoori, Executive Director of the museum, expressed that the series is an integral part of the museum’s 2025 strategy, aiming to inspire new perspectives and spark conversations about how lessons from the past can be applied to contemporary and future challenges.
Dr. Casagranda, a professor at both Austin Community College and UAE University, brings a wealth of knowledge on Middle Eastern politics, political philosophy, and historical analysis. He is known for blending academic insights with dynamic, interactive presentations that captivate audiences and make complex ideas accessible.
