Nakheel, part of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has awarded Al Nasr Contracting Company LLC a contract worth AED 169 million to deliver internal roadworks and essential utilities for Bay Villas, a 636-unit community on Dubai Islands.
The contract covers access roads and the installation of utility services to connect homes, public spaces and the wider island network. The works mark a key step in Nakheel’s strategy to align preparatory infrastructure with community development, ensuring efficiency and long-term value for residents.
Khalid Al Malik, CEO of Dubai Holding Real Estate, said the partnership with Al Nasr lays the foundation for Bay Villas’ waterfront community, highlighting the contractor’s expertise and safety record.
“This infrastructure investment directly supports Dubai Islands’ development as a premier waterfront destination,”
he said.
Jean Nicolas El Helou, CEO of Al Nasr Contracting Company, described the contract as an important collaboration, noting that the company will work closely with stakeholders to meet Nakheel’s standards and deliver a high-quality residential environment.
The deal follows a AED 2.6 billion contract earlier this year awarded to Fibrex Contracting for major works at Dubai Islands, where Bay Villas will offer a mix of townhouses, villas and premium beachfront homes.
Part of the wider Dubai Islands vision, Bay Villas contributes to the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan with its focus on integrated communities, green spaces and modern amenities.
