Nasdaq Dubai has welcomed the secondary listing of a US$150 million bond issued by United Terra Enterprises PLC, marking the energy company’s first appearance on the exchange and reinforcing Dubai’s growing role as a global hub for debt capital markets.
The senior unsecured notes mature on 10 September 2030 and carry an annual coupon of 11.5 percent, payable on a semi-annual basis. The bonds have been assigned ISIN USH8969NAA12 and are admitted to trading on Nasdaq Dubai, with settlement available through international clearing systems including Euroclear, Clearstream Banking, and The Depository Trust Company.
United Terra Enterprises PLC operates a diversified portfolio spanning conventional and renewable energy projects. The Nasdaq Dubai listing serves as a secondary listing alongside Frankfurt, broadening the company’s international footprint and visibility among global investors.
To mark the occasion, United Terra Chief Executive Officer Peter Krempin rang the market-opening bell at Nasdaq Dubai in the presence of Hamed Ali, Chief Executive Officer of Nasdaq Dubai and Dubai Financial Market, as well as senior representatives from both organisations.
Krempin described the listing as a significant milestone that strengthens the company’s presence across two leading financial centres and enhances engagement with international capital markets.
Ali said the debut underscores sustained international demand for Nasdaq Dubai’s debt platform, which supports a wide range of fixed income instruments and provides issuers with efficient access to regional and global investor pools within a robust regulatory framework.
Following this latest addition, the total outstanding value of debt securities listed on Nasdaq Dubai now exceeds US$146.9 billion, highlighting the exchange’s continued expansion as a major international fixed income marketplace.
