The National Media Authority has been named National Partner of the Arab Media Summit 2026, set to take place in Dubai this September under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
The event falls under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.
Organised by the Dubai Press Club, this year's summit is set to be the largest in its history, drawing political and media leaders, content creators and influential voices from across the Arab world.
Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Authority, said the summit has grown into a strategic platform that extends beyond professional dialogue, helping the media community anticipate future shifts and build a more trusted Arab media sector. He described media as central to the UAE's soft power and its drive to attract investment and talent.
Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and President of the Dubai Press Club, welcomed the partnership as a reflection of confidence in the summit's role in advancing the region's media landscape.
Maryam Al Mulla, Director of the Dubai Press Club, added that the collaboration supports efforts to bring media institutions and decision makers together to navigate global change.
The Arab Media Summit 2026 will host a range of events, including the Arab Media Forum, the Government Communication Forum, the Arab Youth Media Forum, the Arab Social Media Influencers Summit, the Films Forum and the Games Forum. It will also honour standout talent through the Arab Media Award, the Ibda'a Arab Youth Media Award and the Arab Social Media Influencers Award.
