The Pan Arab Anesthesia Conference 2025 opened today at the Movenpick Grand Al Bustan Dubai, drawing more than 500 healthcare professionals from over 15 countries in a landmark event for the region’s medical community.

Bringing together anesthesiologists, intensivists, pain specialists, and allied healthcare providers, the conference serves as a major regional platform for scientific exchange, professional development, and interdisciplinary collaboration in anesthesia, critical care, and pain management.

Organised by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions and endorsed by the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists, the conference offers a packed agenda, including 23 scientific sessions, 26 poster presentations, and two hands-on workshops. In total, attendees can earn up to 42.5 accredited continuing medical education (CME) hours.

said Dr. med. Cornelia Weidinger, Chair of the Anesthesia Programme, highlighting the breadth of topics covered — from regional anesthesia and transplant care to emerging technologies.

Dr. Salah Al Ali, Chair of the Pain Management Programme, described the event as a space that goes beyond lectures, enabling deeper learning, collaboration, and professional growth.

he said.
