Park Now, Pay Later: Parkin to Introduce New Payment Features to Enhance Customer Experience
Dubai’s largest paid public parking operator, Parkin PJSC, has unveiled plans to roll out new features aimed at enhancing the customer experience. Among the innovations are autopay and pay-later options, the company announced on social media platform X on Wednesday.
The announcement follows a visit by Mattar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors at the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), to Parkin’s offices. During the visit, Parkin officials, led by CEO Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, presented their plans for expanding parking infrastructure across Dubai. They highlighted the integration of advanced smart technologies and the launch of a new customer call centre capable of handling over 500 daily interactions.
“This visit reaffirms our commitment to innovation, service excellence, and contributing actively to traffic management solutions in Dubai,”
Parkin said in the statement.
In addition to the new payment features, Parkin also announced plans to offer automotive services at select parking locations across Dubai. These will include car washing, on-the-go refuelling, engine oil changes, tyre checks, and battery inspections.
Al Ali further shared that Parkin plans to expand its operations aggressively. The company is exploring expansion into other emirates and beyond the UAE. By the end of 2024, Parkin is in talks with a major Saudi-based conglomerate to bring its paid parking services to Saudi Arabia.
Parkin’s expansion strategy reflects its vision to enhance convenience for drivers while contributing to the ongoing development of smart city solutions.
