Parkin Company PJSC has signed a landmark 10-year agreement with charge&go, a subsidiary of Etisalat Services Holding, to roll out 200 ultra-fast electric vehicle charging stations across Dubai.
The project, set to launch in October 2025, aims to slash EV charging times to under 30 minutes by deploying direct current (DC) charging technology at key destinations. Locations will include residential communities, retail centres, and leisure hubs, aligning with Dubai’s 2040 Urban Master Plan and the emirate’s push for sustainable mobility.
Phase one of the rollout will see 20 charging stations installed in high-traffic areas, with the full network of 200 public and private points expected within 12 months. The chargers will operate under a “park and charge” model, ensuring bays remain available only while vehicles are actively charging.
Customers will be able to reserve slots, track charging status, and pay securely through Parkin’s mobile app. With Dubai now home to more than 40,000 EVs, the initiative is designed to accelerate adoption of electric and hybrid vehicles by providing faster, more accessible charging options.
Eng. Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, CEO of Parkin, said the partnership demonstrates a joint commitment with e& to “deliver cleaner, greener, tech-driven mobility solutions” while supporting Dubai’s ambitions as a sustainable global city.
Muammar Al Rukhaimi, CEO of Etisalat Services Holding, called the project “a decisive step forward,” noting that it will make green mobility “effortlessly accessible” while delivering a superior customer experience.
Parkin, which manages over 212,000 paid parking spaces in Dubai, had first signed an MoU with charge&go at GITEX 2024. The new network represents one of the most significant expansions of EV charging infrastructure in the region to date.
