The Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) will spotlight its latest digital transformation initiatives at GITEX Global 2025, taking place from 13th to 17th October at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The participation underscores Dubai’s continued push toward building a fully digital, AI-driven government ecosystem.

Through its interactive pavilion, PCFC will present cutting-edge projects designed to advance Dubai’s smart governance goals and support the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33). The showcase reflects the Corporation’s role in developing a seamless customs and logistics network that enhances business sustainability and economic diversification.

Dr Mohammed Jumaa Rahma, Executive Director of Technology and Digital Transformation at PCFC, said the Corporation’s presence at GITEX highlights its commitment to innovation and collaboration. He noted that the global tech event, which draws over 200,000 participants and 6,500 companies from around 180 countries, serves as a platform to share digital achievements and build strategic partnerships in areas such as smart cities, AI, and cybersecurity.

Among the projects on display are Marsa, a unified digital platform for managing marine berths across Dubai, and an advanced drone initiative supporting the Dubai Ports Authority’s operations. PCFC will also feature Digital Zero Four, the UAE’s first national company specialising in AI-driven business transformation solutions.

Rashid Al Sharid, Executive Director of the Administration and Finance Division at Dubai Customs, said this year’s exhibition will highlight smart customs services and introduce new technologies including the Radiation Prevention and Monitoring System, the Sawem app, and Al Munasiq, an AI-powered cargo classification tool.

PCFC’s participation reaffirms Dubai’s leadership in digital governance and innovation, positioning the city as a global hub for technology-driven trade, logistics, and smart infrastructure.
