PCFC Unveils New Headquarters in Dubai Maritime City

His Excellency Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of the Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC), officially inaugurated the Corporation's new headquarters in Dubai Maritime City.

The state-of-the-art facility is designed to showcase PCFC's commitment to innovation and sustainability, reinforcing Dubai's role as a global business hub.

Accommodating over 1,500 employees and serving more than 300 clients and visitors daily, the new headquarters includes a dedicated parking structure with over 700 spaces. The ceremony was attended by key figures, including His Excellency Nasser Al Neyadi, CEO of PCFC, and other prominent leaders from Dubai Customs, DP World, and the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre.

In his speech, bin Sulayem highlighted the significance of the headquarters as a milestone in PCFC’s rich history, which dates back to 1886. He emphasized that the facility is designed with a focus on energy efficiency and environmental quality, boasting gold-level LEED certification. The building’s modern design reflects Dubai’s maritime heritage, with a strong emphasis on employee well-being and service efficiency.

The new headquarters also serves as an architectural icon at Mina Rashid, one of the city’s most historic ports. The building's design integrates cutting-edge sustainability features aimed at reducing water consumption and enhancing energy efficiency.

During the event, a tour of the facility showcased various departments, including the Museum, Library, Happiness Council, and Innovation Quay. A custom musical tune and exclusive fragrances named after PCFC’s major ports—Rashid, Hamriyah, and Jebel Ali—were unveiled as part of the celebrations.

The opening marks a new chapter for PCFC, with further plans to drive digital transformation and corporate excellence, according to CEO Nasser Al Neyadi.
