Burj Khalifa and Emaar Entertainment is doing its part is raising awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with a range of activities to get the community involved and help spread the message of the importance of early detection.
From Friday 15th October and on Friday 22nd October, Burj Khalifa will host a special LED show at 8:25pm to honour this auspicious month. If you are in Downtown Dubai, keep your eyes peeled on the world’s tallest building to witness a spectacular pink show. Additionally, this one-of-a-kind projection will be supported by an accompanying light up at The Dubai Fountain.
Dubai Opera will also light up in pink on Friday 15th and Friday 22nd October in a gesture to enhance awareness of breast cancer. Residents and tourists to Downtown Dubai will witness the legendary structure illuminate in a beautiful soft pink to honour this cause.
Over at Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, an underwater banner with a special message will be displayed on Friday 15th and Friday 22nd. Guests can catch a glimpse of this when it goes live at three times during the days - 11:45am, 2:45pm and 4:30pm.
At Dubai Ice Rink, special skating shows will take place on Saturday 16th October at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm, respectively. The iconic attraction will feature the official colour and symbol of breast cancer awareness – The Pink Ribbon – to support the cause.
