Eid Al Etihad: UAE Announces Paid Holiday for Private Sector Employees
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has officially declared 2nd and 3rd December 2024 as paid holidays for all private sector employees in the UAE.
The announcement marks the celebration of the 53rd Eid Al Etihad, a significant national occasion.
This decision follows a circular issued by MoHRE, in accordance with the Cabinet's approved public holidays for both government and private sectors for 2024. The UAE government has made it a point to ensure that the private sector observes this special occasion with the same recognition as public sector employees.
MoHRE has extended its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the leadership, citizens, and residents of the UAE on this joyous occasion. As the country marks the 53rd anniversary of Eid Al Etihad, this holiday provides an opportunity for workers to celebrate with their families and communities.
The announcement comes as part of the UAE's ongoing efforts to maintain harmony and inclusivity across both the public and private sectors, reinforcing the spirit of unity that the Eid Al Etihad celebration represents.
