PureHealth, the largest healthcare platform in the Middle East, has recorded AED1 billion on local procurement to support the National ICV Programme since the first quarter of 2023.
PureHealth's AED13 billion local procurement target by 2032, showcased at the Make it in the Emirates Forum, signifies progress towards the UAE's AED300 billion GDP goal for the industrial sector by 2031. It emphasizes PureHealth's pivotal role in fostering economic diversity and healthcare sustainability.
PureHealth, a key contributor to the UAE's economic and social progress, actively supports local healthcare manufacturing and employment. Joining the National ICV Programme in 2022, it pledged AED 13 billion by 2032 for local procurement, enhancing its ICV strategies across operations, including subsidiaries like SEHA and Daman. SEHA achieved a leading ICV score of 79.1%, showcasing PureHealth's sectoral leadership.
Omar Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of MoIAT, highlighted the UAE's commitment to advancing the ICV Programme under the "Projects of the 50". Notable growth includes AED 67 billion redirected to the economy in 2023, expansion to 1,400 products, and AED 120 billion in purchase agreements, fostering economic growth and investment.
