The Rashid and Latifa Schools Establishment (RLSE) will open scholarship applications on 6 October 2025 for students entering Years 7, 8, and 9 in the 2026–2027 academic year.

The programme is open to academically outstanding Emirati and expatriate students and forms part of RLSE’s efforts to advance Dubai’s educational landscape.

His Excellency Dr Ahmed Abdullah Belhoul Al Falasi, Chairman of RLSE, said the initiative supports the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and aligns with the Education Strategy 2033, launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The strategy aims to deliver student-centred learning, strengthen human capital, and support Dubai’s long-term economic and social goals.

Founded in the early 1980s, Rashid School for Boys and Latifa School for Girls have educated many of the UAE’s leaders, with graduates making up nearly one-fifth of the current Cabinet. More than 2,000 students have passed through the schools, excelling in government, entrepreneurship, the arts, and other key sectors.

Dr Rabaa Al Sumaiti, CEO of RLSE, emphasised that the institution combines academic excellence with national identity and leadership development. Students benefit from a holistic model that balances academics with life skills, discipline, and innovation. A Leadership Diploma offered alongside secondary qualifications underscores this focus.

Applications will be accepted until 7 November 2025 through RLSE’s official website. The selection process will prioritise not only academic performance but also leadership qualities, creative talents, athletic ability, and expertise in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence.

The newly developed RLSE campus, the largest in the Gulf region, spans nearly 280,000 square metres and integrates sustainability and advanced technology, offering students world-class facilities designed to foster learning, creativity, and leadership.
