Resort World One Sets Sail: New Cruise Experience Revitalizes UAE Staycations with Exotic Getaways

As cruise tourism flourishes in the UAE, the newly launched Resort World One cruise ship is set to enhance the local travel scene with short trips of two and three nights across the region.

Catering to the UAE residents’ passion for staycations, the cruise offers weekday journeys to Oman and Qatar and weekend trips to Sir Bani Yas Island, with prices starting around Dh2,800.

The cruise features a range of itineraries, including a two-night Sir Bani Yas weekend cruise departing on Fridays, a three-night Oman cruise leaving Sundays for Khasab and Muscat, and a two-night Doha cruise available on Wednesdays. Passengers can also combine these trips for extended cruises of up to seven nights.

Resort World One promises an abundance of entertainment, including six meals a day, rain dance parties, curated performances, and special events. Naresh Rawal, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, emphasizes the unique experience of cruising, highlighting the rejuvenating atmosphere and top-notch onboard services.

“It’s a highly rejuvenating experience,”

he noted, contrasting the ease of cruise travel with the hassle of flying.

This initiative marks the company’s first venture into the Middle East, with Dubai as the ship’s home port for the next six months. Rawal highlighted the economic benefits of the cruise, noting that it creates local jobs and encourages international visitors to extend their stays in Dubai. The ship has already attracted interest from travelers in CIS markets, Russia, India, China, and Southeast Asia, promising to further boost the region’s economy through increased tourism.
