Roads and Transport Authority and Dubai Police General Headquarters have announced that trucks will be allowed to operate on all roads across Dubai around the clock until the evening of March 4, 2026, in a move designed to support the logistics sector and maintain the smooth flow of supply chains.
The temporary measure permits unrestricted truck movement throughout the emirate, providing added flexibility for transport operators and businesses that rely on timely deliveries.
However, the exemption does not apply to the Airport Tunnel and the Al Shindagha Tunnel. Existing traffic restrictions will remain in force in these two key corridors to safeguard road safety and ensure traffic continues to move efficiently.
Authorities confirmed that standard truck movement regulations will resume on Thursday, March 5, 2026, in line with approved rules.
The RTA and Dubai Police called on truck drivers and transport companies to adhere strictly to traffic instructions and applicable regulations during the temporary period. They also urged full cooperation with relevant authorities to uphold road safety standards and maintain seamless traffic movement across Dubai’s road network.
The decision reflects ongoing efforts by Dubai’s transport and law enforcement authorities to balance economic activity with public safety while supporting the emirate’s critical logistics infrastructure.
