Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has completed traffic upgrades in Nad Al Sheba, including a new entry and exit point from Meydan Street and the conversion of a key intersection into a roundabout on Latifa bint Hamdan Street. These enhancements aim to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and support the area’s growing population and urban development.
According to Abdulla Ali Lootah, RTA’s Director of Roads and Facilities Maintenance Management, the upgrades cut travel time from Meydan Street to Nad Al Sheba by 60% and reduce delays during peak hours by 50%. The improvements also enhance road safety and streamline traffic movement in this vital Dubai neighborhood.
