Transforming Dubai's commuting experience, WO-RK, a pioneering co-working space, unveiled its doors on June 25 at Burjuman Metro Station in partnership with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).

Founded by Shahzad Bhatti of The Co-Spaces, WO-RK offers commuters a vibrant workspace within one of Dubai's busiest metro stations. Featuring brightly colored interiors, the facility accommodates up to 100 individuals with options ranging from a day pass at Dh35 to monthly memberships starting from Dh200. Members enjoy access to private offices, meeting rooms, and open-plan areas, along with complimentary refreshments at the pantry.

Speaking on the strategic location, Bhatti highlighted RTA's foresight in selecting Burjuman Metro Station, citing its high footfall and strategic importance.

"This initiative aligns with Dubai's vision to support entrepreneurs, freelancers, and hybrid workers by providing flexible, affordable workspace solutions,"

he noted.

With operational hours from 8 am to 8 pm on weekdays, WO-RK aims to alleviate commuting hassles and promote sustainable urban mobility.

"Our goal is to create a conducive environment where productivity thrives, complementing Dubai's ambitious urban development plans,"

Bhatti added.

Emphasizing inclusivity, the co-working space welcomes individuals of all ages, catering particularly to metro users seeking a conducive work environment amidst their daily commute.

WO-RK at Burjuman Metro marks a significant step towards integrating workspaces within transport hubs, setting a precedent for future expansions across Dubai's metro network. This initiative not only supports RTA's strategic goals but also underscores Dubai's commitment to becoming a global leader in urban living standards.
