Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially resumed operations on four dedicated bus routes serving Global Village, ushering in the attraction's 29th season for 2024–2025.
The routes include Route 102 from Rashdiya Bus Station, operating every 60 minutes; Route 103 from Union Bus Station, every 40 minutes; Route 104 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, also every 60 minutes; and Route 106 from Mall of the Emirates Bus Station, running every 60 minutes. Each route is serviced by coach buses designed to ensure a comfortable and safe transit experience for visitors and families heading to and from Global Village.
During the previous season (2023–2024), RTA's Global Village bus service saw a significant uptick in ridership, serving 573,759 passengers compared to 448,716 in the 2022–2023 season—a remarkable 22% increase.
In addition to the bus services, RTA has also resumed its popular tourist abra services within Global Village for the new season. Two electric-powered abras will be operational throughout, further enhancing the visitor experience. RTA's commitment to providing this unique mode of transportation has been instrumental in promoting tourism within Global Village, combining comfort and enjoyment for guests.
With these services back in operation, Dubai’s RTA aims to facilitate seamless travel for residents and tourists alike, making the Global Village experience more accessible than ever.
