Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has signed five platinum-level sponsorship agreements for the UITP Global Public Transport Summit 2026, further strengthening Dubai’s position as a global hub for sustainable mobility and innovation.
The agreements were signed with Al Naboodah Group, Dubai Taxi Company, Keolis Group, United Motors & Heavy Equipment Company, and RATP Group in the presence of His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of RTA, and Mohamed Mezghani, Secretary General of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP).
Ahmed Bahrozyan, CEO of RTA’s Public Transport Agency, signed on behalf of RTA, highlighting that the partnerships reflect the growing collaboration between the public and private sectors. He noted that these agreements will play a vital role in ensuring the success of the global summit and reinforce Dubai’s reputation as a leading city for major international events.
Executives from the sponsoring companies expressed pride in partnering with RTA for the upcoming summit, emphasizing their shared commitment to advancing smart, connected, and sustainable transport solutions. The sponsors praised Dubai’s leadership in innovation and urban mobility, viewing the summit as an opportunity to showcase best practices and strengthen international collaboration.
Scheduled for April 2026, the UITP Global Public Transport Summit will bring together global industry leaders, policymakers, and experts to exchange knowledge and shape the future of public transport.
