Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced the introduction of three new bus routes starting Friday, November 29, alongside adjustments to numerous existing routes aimed at enhancing passenger convenience and efficiency.

One of the highlights is Route 108, connecting Satwa Bus Station directly to Global Village. This route will operate on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and during special events, from 2 PM to 1 AM the next day. With 11 trips per direction daily, it will have a 60-minute frequency.

The other two routes include Route F63, a Metro feeder linking Al Ras Metro Station to Union Bus Station via Al Khaleej and Naif Streets, and Route J05, which will connect Mira Community to Dubai Studio City, passing through Neshama Townhouses.

In addition to the new routes, RTA will streamline 30 existing bus routes to improve travel times and efficiency. Key modifications include:

  • Route 5: Now operating in both directions between Abu Hail and Union Bus Stations, bypassing Al Ras Metro Station.
  • Route 33: Shortened to end at Karama Bus Station instead of Al Ghubaiba.
  • Route 91: Adjusted to cover Business Bay en route to Jebel Ali Bus Station and include the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) stop.
  • Route J02: Shortened to enhance connectivity between Arabian Ranches and Dubai Production City.

Additional changes include updates to feeder routes such as F38 and F39, ensuring expanded coverage to new stops like Al Jurf Heights and Etihad Mall, respectively. Express Route X92 will now serve the DMCC Metro Stop while reducing stops at Dubai Investment Park.

These adjustments reflect RTA’s commitment to improving commuter experience through optimized routes and schedules.
