Dubai is set to welcome the 24th edition of Ru’ya, Careers UAE tomorrow at the Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing together 180 public and private sector organisations in a three-day event aimed at empowering Emiratis with career opportunities, skills development, and pathways to the future of work.
The exhibition is a cornerstone of the UAE’s Emiratisation strategy, aligning with the national goal of achieving 8% Emiratisation in the private sector by the end of 2025. More than 125,000 Nationals are already working in the private sector as of June this year, reflecting steady progress in workforce integration.
Last year, Ru’ya hosted 150 exhibitors and facilitated 7,000 on-site interviews, underlining its role as a key driver of youth employment. This year’s edition will feature major employers such as DEWA, RTA, HQ Police, ADCB, Amazon, PwC, Emirates, and Majid Al Futtaim, alongside government partners including the Ministry of Education, KHDA, and the Dubai Government Human Resources Department.
Workshops, innovation challenges in AI and coding, and leadership training will provide hands-on experiences for school students, university graduates, and job seekers. The programme is designed to strengthen entrepreneurial and professional skills while connecting Nationals directly with industry leaders.
“As we open the doors to another exciting edition of Ru’ya, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting Emirati talent as they chart their future,”
said Asma Al Sharif, Assistant Vice President for Sustainability and Exhibitions Management at Dubai World Trade Centre.
The event is supported by DP World as Platinum Sponsor, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) as Gold Sponsor, and Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) as Silver Sponsor.
