Dubai Airports and Salik have signed a 10-year agreement to introduce seamless E-Wallet parking payments across Dubai International Airport, enhancing convenience for millions of travelers and improving traffic flow at the world’s busiest international airport.
The agreement was witnessed by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Dubai Airports, alongside Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Salik. The partnership brings Salik’s E-Wallet payment solution to all paid parking facilities at DXB.
Starting January 22, the system will be implemented across 7,400 designated parking spaces covering Terminals 1, 2, 3, and the Cargo Mega Terminal. The integration will allow drivers to pay parking fees directly from their Salik E-Wallet accounts without stopping at payment machines.
The agreement was formally signed by Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad, Chief Executive Officer of Salik, and Paul Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Airports, in the presence of senior officials from both organisations.
Under the memorandum of understanding, Salik will integrate its E-Wallet system with the existing car park management platforms operated by Dubai Airports’ appointed concessionaire. This integration is designed to streamline entry and exit processes, reduce congestion at parking exits, and deliver a smoother overall experience for airport users.
Commenting on the initiative, Al Haddad said the integration reflects Salik’s commitment to delivering efficient, state-of-the-art mobility solutions across Dubai. Griffiths noted that the collaboration supports Dubai Airports’ long-term vision of seamless access while simplifying parking and reducing queuing for travelers.
The move marks another step in Dubai’s push toward smart mobility and fully digital transport services.
