Salik Company has signed a new partnership with Dubai’s Community Development Authority to fund programs that support People of Determination, marking a strengthened push toward community inclusion during the UAE Year of Community.
Under the agreement, Salik will contribute to a series of initiatives aligned with the Dubai Social Agenda 33, focusing on empowerment, accessibility, and long-term social integration. The CDA will direct these funds toward essential services and expand programs to reach a broader group of beneficiaries.
Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid, Director General of the CDA, said the collaboration reflects the commitment of leading Dubai institutions to advance sustainable community development. She noted that the partnership reinforces social solidarity and highlights the private sector’s growing role in supporting the social ecosystem.
Salik CEO Ibrahim Al Haddad emphasized the company’s ongoing dedication to social responsibility, stating that People of Determination are an integral part of society. He added that the organisation will continue working with government bodies to strengthen inclusive initiatives in line with national priorities and humanitarian values.
Sheikha Al Jarman, Executive Director of the Social Development Sector at the CDA, said the initiative underscores Dubai’s focus on strategic partnerships that enhance empowerment frameworks and improve quality of life for People of Determination.
Salik has long provided facilitations for People of Determination, including exemptions from toll fees. The CDA, meanwhile, offers a wide range of services such as financial assistance, assistive technologies, personal care support, vocational training, and specialised therapeutic programs, forming a comprehensive system that promotes independence and inclusion across the community.
