The UAE Artificial Intelligence Office and Samsung Gulf Electronics have opened registration for Samsung Innovation Campus 2026, a programme that trains young Emirati talent to build AI solutions. Applications close on October 16.
This year's edition adds a new generative AI track, giving participants practical skills in one of the fastest-growing areas of the field. The curriculum moves from foundational concepts to advanced applications, covering Python programming, probability and statistics, machine learning and deep learning.
Training combines expert-led sessions, self-paced learning, practical exercises and projects based on real-world challenges.
Dr. Abdelrahman Al Mahmoud, Director at the Artificial Intelligence Office, said investing in national talent is a key pillar of the UAE's approach to AI. He added that partnerships with global technology companies help align skills development with the needs of future sectors.
Jerome Hong, President of Samsung Gulf Electronics, said the technology's greatest impact comes "when it is paired with the right skills and opportunities."
Registration is open to UAE nationals aged 18 to 29 at samsung.com/ae/innovation-campus. Applicants need a foundation in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, including statistics, along with previous programming experience in languages such as Java, JavaScript and C++. Shortlisted candidates will sit an admission assessment to confirm their eligibility.
Launched in the UAE in 2022 as part of Samsung's global CSR initiative, the programme has graduated more than 400 students. The 2026 edition marks a new phase, as it will exclusively target UAE nationals.
