SEE Holding has joined forces with UAE-based robotics and AI firm Micropolis to accelerate the rollout of smart infrastructure across The Sustainable City 2.0 — a next-generation, AI-driven urban model aimed at redefining climate-resilient living.

The partnership combines SEE Holding’s expertise in sustainable urban development with Micropolis’s advanced robotics, surveillance systems, and smart mobility solutions. Together, they aim to build fully connected, adaptive cities that optimise energy, water, waste, and mobility in real time, while enhancing the wellbeing of residents.

Unveiled earlier this month, The Sustainable City 2.0 builds on the success of SEE Holding’s award-winning urban model, which has already cut emissions by 78% and diverted 89% of waste from landfills in Dubai. The upgraded version integrates artificial intelligence into every layer of infrastructure, allowing the city to “think, adapt, and evolve” as it grows.

“With The Sustainable City 2.0, we are building an urban blueprint for a more intelligent, climate-resilient future,”

said Faris Saeed, Chairman and CEO of SEE Holding.

“Our strategic partnership with Micropolis will empower us to deliver seamless AI integration at the infrastructure level.”

Fareed Aljawhari, CEO of Micropolis, called the move a step toward global impact.

“The Sustainable City gave us a real environment to refine our robotics platforms. With TSC 2.0, we’re proud to take this partnership global and deliver automation built for the cities of tomorrow.”

The partnership marks a significant milestone in SEE Holding’s mission to scale its sustainable city model worldwide, positioning The Sustainable City 2.0 as a replicable, tech-enabled solution to urban climate challenges.
