The Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) has announced the launch of SIGA Asia, marking a major milestone in its global expansion with the upcoming Sport Integrity Forum Asia – Dubai Chapter, set to take place on November 12 in Dubai.
Organised under Sport Integrity Action Month, the event will formalise a partnership between SIGA and the International Sports & Entertainment Zone (ISEZA) through a Memorandum of Understanding, establishing SIGA Asia – Chapter Dubai. The move strengthens Dubai’s position as a growing global hub for sports governance and integrity.
Hosted by ISEZA and supported by the Dubai Sports Council, the half-day forum will convene senior figures from sport, government, business, academia, media, and civil society. Discussions will focus on key governance and integrity challenges shaping the future of sport across Asia.
Themed “A New Chapter for Integrity in Asian Sport,” the forum will feature four panel discussions exploring the future of governance, sustainability, brand accountability, and athlete leadership. Topics include the role of innovation and technology in safeguarding integrity, sport’s contribution to environmental and social progress, and the growing responsibility of sponsors and broadcasters in promoting transparency.
The event follows SIGA’s earlier announcement of its expansion into Asia during the Summit on Female Leadership in Sport – Dubai Edition, underlining the organisation’s commitment to advancing ethical standards and good governance in global sport.
