SkyGrid and High Lander have joined forces at the 2025 Dubai Airshow to accelerate the development of a next-generation airspace management ecosystem that supports the safe integration of crewed and uncrewed aircraft across the UAE.

The two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on shaping an operational environment for advanced air mobility. Their work will focus on airspace integration, digital operations, vertiport connectivity, cybersecurity, and regulatory pathways needed to support drones, cargo aircraft, and eVTOL systems.

As part of the agreement, the partners will assess requirements for Advanced Air Mobility Supporting Operational Environments and build technology roadmaps and infrastructure plans for future operations in Abu Dhabi and other regions. The initiative aims to establish a unified framework that can enable scalable and sustainable air mobility networks.

Jia Xu, CEO of SkyGrid, said the partnership marks a milestone for the region as it works toward a digital foundation for advanced air mobility. He added that the collaboration moves the industry closer to seamless and safe airspace integration.

The project aligns with Abu Dhabi’s Economic Vision 2030 and reinforces the emirate’s long term push for innovation, diversification, and sustainability.

High Lander CEO Alon Absolon said the UAE provides an ideal environment to demonstrate how automation and data driven management can support shared airspace for both crewed and uncrewed aircraft.
