Offering AR creators, developers, and teams the opportunity to earn for building top-performing Lenses on Snapchat.

Snapchat's global AR community, consisting of over 300,000 AR creators, developers, and teams, has garnered immense love for the Lenses they build. These creators have crafted more than 3 million Lenses, which have been viewed by Snapchatters over 5 trillion times, showcasing the deep engagement and popularity of AR experiences on the platform.

In acknowledgment of the remarkable scale of AR creation and the value of creative engagement from Snapchatters, Snapchat is dedicated to supporting AR creators by empowering and rewarding their creativity.

Introducing the "Lens Creator Rewards," this new program offers an opportunity for Snap AR creators, developers, and teams to earn for developing top-performing Lenses on Snapchat. The program aims to celebrate the most imaginative Lenses that allow Snapchatters to express themselves and have fun with friends, from trying out new looks to exploring captivating AR scenes.

Each month, Lens Creators have the chance to be awarded up to $7,200 if their Lens becomes the top-performing Lens in the United States, India, and Mexico. This opportunity is open to both new and existing members of the Lens Studio community from nearly 40 countries. More details on eligibility can be found in the Lens Creator Rewards Terms.

Over the past five years, Snapchat has provided its AR community with opportunities to build Lenses for brands and partners, experiment with digital goods, and explore the future of AR through initiatives like the GHOST Innovation Lab and the Spectacles Creator program. The introduction of Lens Creator Rewards marks an exciting new avenue for AR creators to explore fresh creative possibilities and further expand their businesses.
