Suqia UAE Launches ‘Gift Water to Mosques’ Initiative to Foster Community Spirit

The UAE Water Aid Foundation (Suqia UAE) has unveiled its new community-driven initiative, ‘Gift Water to Mosques,’ in collaboration with the Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department, Mai Dubai, and Moro Hub.

This innovative project invites individuals and institutions to contribute water for distribution to mosques across Dubai, further promoting the values of giving and solidarity.

Since its inception a decade ago, Suqia UAE, a key part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation (MBRGI), has launched numerous programs aimed at creating a more cohesive and supportive society. The latest initiative reflects these efforts, encouraging the community to come together and provide for the less fortunate.

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Suqia, emphasized that this initiative aligns with the UAE’s ‘Year of Community,’ which promotes unity under the theme ‘Hand in Hand.’ He also highlighted how the UAE’s culture of charity and the Islamic values of generosity are central to the mission of Suqia UAE, further strengthening bonds among different segments of society.

Those interested in participating can easily donate water via Suqia’s official website or mobile app, available on both Android and iOS platforms. By supporting this initiative, both individuals and organizations can help ensure a steady supply of drinking water to mosques, deepening community connections in Dubai.
