talabat, the region’s leading food and grocery delivery app, announced its strategic partnership with Booking.com, one of the world’s leading digital travel companies. talabat customers across the region will now receive 8% cashback directly to their talabat wallets when arranging their accommodation reservations through Booking.com using the http://booking.com/talabat link.

The partnership with Booking.com is the first wallet partnership initiative in talabat’s regional lifestyle. talabat customers can choose from more than 28 million global accommodation listings on Booking.com, including hotels, homes, apartments, and other unique places to stay.

Tomaso Rodriguez, Chief Executive Officer at talabat said:

‘As holiday season is fast approaching, we really want to provide our customers with additional value and savings – which we hope to enable through this partnership with Booking.com. talabat customers will receive 8% cashback of their total Booking.com accommodation cost, whether they choose to enjoy a staycation or plan to travel to their preferred destination.

Those savings are then credited to a customer’s talabat wallet, and can be used on talabat’s full variety of food delivery, groceries, pharmaceuticals or flowers.’

Along with offering customers more value on talabat when planning their next holiday, the launch of this new partnership also focuses on supporting the domestic tourism and hospitality industry in each operating country, something which Rodriguez believes is vital during the pandemic.
