TECOM Group PJSC has strengthened its sustainability credentials, announcing that 55% of the gross leasable area across its commercial portfolio is now LEED-certified, following 12 new certifications awarded by the US Green Building Council in the first half of 2025.
The latest certifications bring TECOM Group’s total number of LEED-certified office buildings to 55, underscoring its commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals and alignment with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. The company continues to embed sustainability across its Grade-A office districts in Dubai, including key hubs such as Dubai Internet City.
Dubai Internet City alone received six certifications, covering buildings such as Phase 2 of the Innovation Hub and the in5 Tech centre, marking a significant milestone in TECOM Group’s ongoing drive to enhance the environmental performance of its developments.
“Commercial workspaces are instrumental in shaping the urban future, and engineering excellence is vital to designing workspaces where the world’s brightest minds thrive,”
said Haif Zamzam, Executive Vice President of Strategy & Marketing and Chair of the ESG Committee at TECOM Group PJSC.
“The LEED recognitions showcase the success of our ESG strategy and the appeal of our districts to global investors and businesses pursuing sustainable growth.”
Abdulla Bahroozyan, Executive Vice President of Engineering, added that the certifications reaffirm the company’s commitment to integrating sustainability into every level of operation.
“Environmental efficiency investments go beyond numbers and highlight the role of innovation as a catalyst for sustainable growth,”
he said.
The milestone reinforces TECOM Group’s position as a key player in advancing sustainable business environments across Dubai’s innovation-driven economy.
