Thales International is set to launch a strategic radar manufacturing facility in the UAE, further strengthening the country’s position as a hub for advanced defence and technological industries.
Pascale Sourisse, President and CEO of Thales International, stated that the facility will not only meet the UAE’s defence needs but also serve as an export platform for global markets.
The French multinational, specializing in aerospace, space, defence, security, and transportation, is also engaged in discussions with UAE authorities to develop advanced solutions in aircraft, communication systems, and radars. These efforts align with the country’s strategic vision to enhance defence readiness and technological advancement.
Sourisse emphasized the UAE’s strategic role in Thales’ regional operations, highlighting the nation’s geographic advantage and advanced infrastructure as key factors in supporting the company’s expansion plans. By leveraging these strengths, Thales aims to bolster the UAE’s global footprint in high-tech defence manufacturing and exports.
