The French Community Club in partnership with the renowned Hilton Dubai Jumeirah in JBR, is ready to celebrate yet again the pristine Savoie and Dauphine alpine region of France.
The festival will start on 8th October at 9 am at Ski Dubai where world ski speed champion Karine Dubouchet-Revol will open the annual slalom ski competition with the Dubai community skiers followed by the much anticipated ‘The Alpine Brunch’ at 1:00 pm at Oceana restaurant in Hilton Dubai Jumeirah, where an authentic atmosphere of a Savoyard Chalet is recreated in the heart of Dubai. Enjoy a special menu prepared by 3 Alpine Chefs led by Chef Laurent Trincaz, and sway to live music performances by L’Echo de l’Alpe, the traditional band of Savoie who will be setting the tone at Le Chalet every night.
Hilton Dubai Jumeirah will also host ‘The Festive and Mountain Dinners’ from 9th to 13th October from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. This event will feature gastronomic experiences hand-crafted by talented chefs, and cheese masters flying in specifically for this event. The chef will present a special a la carte menu.
From October 16th to 20th, children will be able to participate in a ski class at Ski Dubai with French ski instructors from ESF (French Ski School) of the famous ski resort Alpe d'Huez. At the end of the week, each child will receive his official diploma and ski medal at a raclette dinner at The Grape Escape, Hilton the Walk.
On October 10th at 6 pm, World ski champion Karine Dubouchet-Revol will do a conference at Sorbonne Abu Dhabi.
