The Government of Dubai unveils its brand new logo
In a tweet published via the Dubai Media Office, the design of the new logo was unveiled on Sunday evening.
The new logo incorporates national symbols such as the Ghaf leaves, which point to the emirate’s flexibility, agility, tolerance, and coexistence. Dubai’s famous Dhow boats are also incorporated, as well as other popular aspects such as the falcon, the Dubai flag, and the palm tree.
The launch of the new logo was revealed during the first meeting of The Executive Council of Dubai, following its recent reconstitution. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also presided over the first meeting of The Executive Council.
During the meeting, it was also announced that there would be an allocation of Dhs40 billion for the ‘Dubai Portfolio for Public-Private Partnership’ for 2024-2026. Dubai’s ‘Affordable Housing Policy’ and the ‘Dubai Sandbox’ project, which is targeted at supporting 100 tech ventures in its initial phase, were also approved during the meeting.
