The Sustainable City in Dubai has been announced as the Platinum Partner for the upcoming 1 Billion Followers Summit, the world’s largest gathering dedicated to content creation.
The partnership underscores a shared vision between the two entities to promote creativity, sustainability, and purposeful content that drives positive global impact.
Organised by the UAE Government Media Office, the fourth edition of the Summit will be held from 9 to 11 January 2026 across Emirates Towers, DIFC, and the Museum of the Future under the theme “Content for Good.” The event is set to bring together global creators and industry leaders whose combined audiences exceed one billion followers.
Khadija Hussain, Executive Director of Government Communication at the UAE Government Media Office and Deputy CEO of the Summit, said the collaboration reflects the Summit’s commitment to promoting responsible creativity and leveraging content creation to advance causes such as sustainability and quality of life.
Faris Saeed, Founder and Chairman of SEE Holding, the developer of The Sustainable City, said the partnership aims to integrate sustainability principles into digital storytelling and inspire creators to support the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 vision through impactful environmental messages.
The Sustainable City’s participation offers a global platform to showcase Dubai’s leadership in green urban innovation and sustainable living. Spanning five million square feet in DubaiLand, the city is powered by clean solar energy and designed to cut carbon emissions by up to 75 percent, setting a benchmark for smart, eco-friendly urban development in the region.
Together, the partnership reinforces the UAE’s growing influence as a global hub for sustainable innovation and creative excellence.
