TikTok reinforced its commitment to the global creator economy by hosting 15 expert-led conversations and hands-on workshops during the fourth edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, the world’s largest gathering dedicated to content creation and digital influence.
Held at the dedicated TikTok House, the sessions were designed to equip creators with practical skills spanning discovery, safety, monetisation, and production quality. Led by a mix of TikTok professionals and established creators, the programme offered both foundational guidance and advanced strategies to help creators build sustainable, long-term careers on the platform.
Kinda Ibrahim, Regional General Manager of Operations for TikTok Middle East, Africa, South and Central Asia, said the initiative focused on enabling creators to grow responsibly. She noted that the sessions shared actionable tools and insights to help creators build meaningful communities while navigating monetisation and safety effectively.
Workshops ranged from platform basics in Level Up Fast: Your Creator Skills Upgrade to data-driven growth through Inside TikTok Studio: Tracking Growth with Purpose. Community wellbeing was also prioritised, with sessions outlining TikTok’s safety framework and a closed-door discussion aimed at supporting women creators.
Monetisation featured prominently, including deep dives into TikTok LIVE, brand partnerships through TikTok One, and guidance on how brands assess creators for long-term collaborations. Specialised sessions explored entertainment, sports content, high-quality production, advanced editing techniques, and the creative use of artificial intelligence.
Organised by the UAE Government Media Office, the summit took place from 9 to 11 January 2026 across Jumeirah Emirates Towers, DIFC, and the Museum of the Future under the theme Content for Good. The event welcomed more than 30,000 attendees, including 15,000 creators and over 500 expert speakers from around the world.
