Tim Aerospace has officially opened a state-of-the-art hangar at the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub in Dubai South, marking one of the largest independent maintenance, repair, and overhaul facilities in the Middle East.

The new facility is designed to accommodate up to 12 narrow-body aircraft or five wide-body aircraft of any type, excluding the A-380. It will provide premium, cost-efficient aircraft base maintenance for both commercial passenger and cargo aircraft, strengthening Tim Aerospace’s presence in the global MRO market.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South; Tahnoon Saif, CEO of MBRAH; Timor Shah Shahab, Founder of Tim Aerospace; senior executives from both organisations; and representatives from leading airlines.

Tahnoon Saif highlighted the strategic importance of the facility, stating it reinforces Dubai’s position as a global aviation hub and supports innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth across the aviation value chain. Timor Shah Shahab emphasized the hangar’s role in expanding Tim Aerospace’s capabilities in the Middle East while setting new benchmarks in efficiency, safety, and reliability.

MBRAH, a free-zone aerospace platform developed by Dubai South, provides global aerospace companies with high-level connectivity and integrated services, including maintenance centres, training campuses, and education facilities. The hub aims to strengthen Dubai’s engineering and aviation industries and support the emirate’s vision of becoming a leading international aviation centre.

The new Tim Aerospace hangar represents a significant step in Dubai’s expanding aerospace ecosystem, offering advanced MRO services to meet growing regional and global demand.
