The Community Development Authority (CDA) has launched a major participatory effort to shape Dubai’s Social Sector Strategy 2025–2033, hosting a co-design workshop that included 70 representatives from 27 local and federal entities.
This initiative marks the first phase in a three-stage strategy development process running through July and August.
Held under the umbrella of Dubai Social Agenda 33 and Dubai Plan 2033, the workshop emphasized collaborative governance and practical insight-sharing to ensure that the strategy directly reflects real community needs.
The upcoming strategy will focus on three core outcomes: personal wellbeing, family cohesion, and community belonging, while leveraging technology and artificial intelligence to transform the delivery of social services.
Her Excellency Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director General of the CDA, emphasized the role of inclusive participation in building a more equitable and sustainable social future. The strategy will evolve through continued workshops, interviews, and field visits to ensure it is actionable and human-centered.
