Tradeling Holding, the B2B e-commerce arm of Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ), has announced the acquisition of Axiom Telecom's MENA distribution business.
The agreement, witnessed by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of DIEZ, cements Tradeling’s position as a premier technology partner for global brands, with annual revenues projected to exceed AED 2 billion.
The acquisition encompasses A&T Holding FZCO, which owns Axiom’s key distribution entities, including Axiom Distribution FZCO (UAE), Axiom International Distribution FZCO (UAE), and Axiom Telecom Saudi Arabia Co (KSA). These companies specialize in technology distribution across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and international markets, managing major experience stores and export services for leading mobile brands.
Tradeling, based in Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZ), operates the MENA region’s largest B2B e-commerce platform, with over 50,000 customers and a fourfold increase in order volumes since 2023. The acquisition reinforces Tradeling’s commitment to fostering trade innovation and aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to double the emirate’s economy by 2033.
Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni, Executive Chairman of DIEZ, hailed the acquisition as a milestone in transforming the region’s B2B e-commerce sector, leveraging Tradeling’s digital expertise and Axiom’s established networks. Fahad AlBannai, CEO of Axiom Telecom, emphasized the alignment of Axiom’s legacy with Tradeling’s ambitious growth strategy.
This move strengthens Tradeling’s offerings in marketplace solutions, logistics, and distribution, further positioning Dubai as a hub for global trade and innovation.
